The Friends of the National Prehistory Museum and Archaeological Research Society (SAMRA)

samra.pngThe goal of the Friends of the National Prehistory Museum and Archaeological Research Society (SAMRA) is to support the National Prehistory Museum, to contribute to the development of its standing with the public in France and abroad and to promote archaeological research.

The SAMRA occasionally participates in research through donations or financial aid, notably for archaeological excavations or through the young researcher’s prize of €2,000 given every two years.

The members of the Friends of the National Prehistory Museum and Archaeological Research Society receives the association’s biannual newsletter entitled “Eponyme” free of charge. Conferences, outings and trips, sometimes to sites not open to the public, are offered all year long, in France and abroad.

Subscription: €40 per year (€20 without PALEO); students: €15
